Q.Can I reference my church and my pastor in my questions and comments?
A. As much as we aspire to "keep it real," we would be much more effective if we do not mention people's names, or the name of any specific church. We kindly ask that you refrain from that.
Q.I do not profess to be a christian, neither do I attend any church, but I have questions, can I ask them?
A.Absolutely!
Q. I do not attend any church and really have no intention of ever attending one, however, I do believe in God, and I do pray, and have a pretty good life so far, am I a part of the Body of Christ?
A. First and foremost, the Body of Christ consists of any and everyone who has committed and submitted their life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. How can anyone be committed and submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ? The answer is clearly stated repeatedly throughout the New Testament scriptures. St. John 1:12 states that anyone who receives Christ into their hearts, into their lives, obtains the right, or the power to become a Child of God. Romans 10:9, 10 also states that when a person believes in his or her heart that God did raise His son, Jesus, from the dead, and confesses with his, or her mouth that Jesus is Lord of his, or her life that person is also saved, a Child of God, a part of the Body of Christ. That person is submitted to the Lordship of Christ. In other words, the moment a person responds to God as mentioned in these scriptures, that person gets connected to God, or becomes a part, or member of the Body of Christ. By responding to God that person is saying "yes, I now submit my life to the Lordship of Jesus." Now, there are people in very challenging circumstances, such as being bound to certain military, or political posts, bedridden, somehow disabled, incarcerated, to name a few, these individuals can by no means physically attend a local church. Many of these people are so very submitted and connected to Jesus as their Lord and are so very passionate about their faith and love for their God. With the advancement of technology, our physically challenged brothers and sisters can and do connect, and have over time become very vital functioning parts of the Body of Christ without ever physically attending a local assembly.

Don’t have anyone to go with. Don’t trust preachers. Don’t like preaching. Don’t have extra time to attend church. Prefer to conveniently…

Reasons people attend church
An innate passion to worship God the Father, and the Lord Jesus with other believers, accompanied by inner promptings to hear what God is saying. To earnestly keep the faith. To receive God’s favor and blessings. Gut feeling it is the right and moral thing to do. To stay on the right path. For instructions…
